After trading city life for 200 acres of barren farmland outside of Los Angeles, John and Molly Chester attempt to develop a sustainable farm. This documentary, filmed and directed by John Chester, chronicles their eight-year quest to develop a thriving regenerative farm in harmony with the natural world. Following both the successes and failures of farm life, The Biggest Little Farm is a heartwarming portrait of ordinary people committing themselves to sustainability and environmentalism. This screening will be followed by a panel discussion as part of Boone County and City of Columbia’s Office of Sustainability Environmental Film Series.
