Living Canvas Studio of Tattoo, Body Piercing & Art Gallery brings an upscale, sophisticated approach to an age old art form.
Living Canvas is playing host to several local artist´s works in its new art gallery, while at the same time trying to eliminate the tradional stereotypes associated with the tattoo parlors of old.
At first glance, all understand this is not the seedy tattoo parlor of eras past. With the giant oak entry doors, hardwood floors, multiple fire places, high ceilings and incredible works of art in the gallery, it is obvious to all that this is a new breed of tattoo shop. Offering the artistry of several local tattoo and body piercing specialists, along side the multiple works of art in all mediums is only the beginning. Living Canvas is currently working to add to the mix an acupunturist and a reiki massage master.
Living Canvas uses the most up–to–date hospital sterilization methods and spares no cost in its quest to uphold the highest standards in health and disease control.
The gallery is always accepting submissions in all mediums for consideration. The Living Canvas Gallery´s main purpose is to provide a venue for local artists who might not have enough works to fill and entire show, and to provide an outlet for worksk that may be deemed too controversial or too alternative for mainstream galleries.
The gallery lobby is a relaxing space in which all are encouraged to come in have a sit and soak up the art, atmosphere and even take advantage of the free Wi–Fi hot spot we have provided. Located in The District directly across from Tropical Liqueurs it makes a wonderful stopping point for those walking The District.
