Bring the kids in their costumes to The District for a night of trick or treating. Come take part in the fun on Friday, October 28th. Participating businesses will be handing out treats from 4 - 6 p.m. Over 50 stores and restaurants will be participating. It's fun for the whole family! Just look for the poster shown above, to know which businesses are passing out goodies.
NEW THIS YEAR: The Great ^Mini^ Pumpkin Hunt!
The District is teaming up with The Heart of Missouri United Way to LIVE UNITED. Stop by a participating business, pick up a treature map, and find all the "Live United" pumpkins for a chance to win great prizes! The start location is up to you, but the end location is Orr Street Studios at 6:00pm. Bring your full game pieces to Orr Street Studios in the North Village Arts District for fun and prizes! Give to The Heart of Missouri United Way here.
Don't forget to check out the Fall Harvest Festival at The Root Cellar (1023 E. Walnut) for free local food, tasty beverages, crafts, and pumpkin carving! Don't miss it, 4-8pm, Oct 28th!

As the weather turns colder, shopkeepers throughout The District begin planning for the annual Living Windows Festival. On the first Friday in December, from 6-8 p.m., shopkeepers move all the merchandise, out of their front windows and stage live holiday performances (map) for onlookers. The District features open houses, strolling carolers, free carriage rides, holiday treats and visits with Santa. Discover the holidays. Discover The District.
