What's New in the District

What’s new in The District, Downtown?

In 2023, we’re lighting up The District

This month, if you're strolling through The Downtown District at night, you may notice a major difference in the level of visibility in the area. This improvement comes as a result of The District’s continuous efforts to increase safety in Downtown Columbia, contributing more than $30,000 to the installation of new LED lights. There's no better way to explore Downtown than knowing you're walking in safe, clean, and well-lit areas. While you're out, shop local CoMo and grab some food, drinks, or artwork as you support our small businesses.

Live The “Good” Life in The District

This year, we're finding more ways to Live the "Good" Life. Round up your friends and come down to hang out at some of your favorite spots in The District. No matter whether you enjoy an array of savory or sweet treats or simply winding down at a local cantina, there's something to delight your taste buds.

While you're at it, catch a vibe at some of Downtown Columbia's local concert and theater venues. Here's a list of a few of the hot spots for shows:

P.S. If you haven't heard, Restaurant Week 2023 will take on a new twist this year, where we will wine and dine the entire month of June. You don't want to miss it!
